The purpose of the foundation is to provide for the welfare of the widow and children of Dr. Ernst Burlet-Schär in any form in accordance with the foundation deed. In the event of the widow's remarriage, the circle of beneficiaries is limited to the children. The foundation is primarily intended to enable the children to receive an appropriate education and training. To achieve the purpose of the foundation, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts in favor of the beneficiaries or enter into existing insurance contracts. The foundation is the policyholder in any case. As long as the widow and children of Dr. Ernst Burlet-Schär are still alive and do not claim the foundation, the interest on the foundation's assets may be used to support members of the student association Jurassia and their relatives. After the death of the widow and children of Dr. Ernst Burlet-Schär, the foundation's assets may also be used in whole or in part, if necessary, to support members of the student association Jurassia and their relatives.
