A. The association aims to achieve the following: a) Promotion and development of tennis in Europe in all forms and at all levels, as may be useful to the members, excluding unfair discrimination based on race, color, gender, sexual orientation, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. b) Strengthening and development of friendly relations and cooperation with the members and all other related tennis bodies, as well as improving relations between affiliated members. c) Contribution to a better understanding of tennis in Europe, highlighting its values, principles, and beliefs. d) Safeguarding the interests of the members and the association as a regional body. e) Compliance with the constitution of the ITF. f) Execution of all functions delegated by the ITF. g) Use of the association's resources in the best interest of tennis. h) Introduction, promotion, and coordination of development and training programs in the region. i) Promotion and support of the training of coaches, referees, and court officials. j) Promotion and management of the organization of European Championships, cup competitions, and tournaments at the active, professional, and junior levels, as well as the regulation and direction of such events. k) Safeguarding the independence of Tennis Europe in all matters concerning tennis, without improper interference or influence by any external authority in its relations with the members and other organizations associated with Tennis Europe. B. In pursuing its objectives, Tennis Europe relies on the principles of loyalty, integrity, good governance, fair play, and non-discrimination. These principles and these statutes are interpreted and implemented in accordance with the code of ethics of the IOC and its fundamental, universal principles of good governance of the Olympic movement in their respective valid versions.
