The foundation aims to support and promote the evangelical-theological education of needy individuals with the obligation to later take up a pastoral office. For this purpose, the foundation can pay scholarships for the evangelical-theological education of needy individuals in connection with the later assumption of a pastoral office; it can support the training of selected individuals as church employees; it can support social engagement of evangelically and ecumenically organized young people, especially in the Obertoggenburg region; it can provide educational assistance to young people from socially disadvantaged or distressed families, especially in the Obertoggenburg region; and it can carry out further charitable foundation activities in the sense of the foundation's purpose.
