3.1 The foundation's purpose is to distribute contributions from the foundation's assets to beneficiaries as per Article 3.2, in accordance with Articles 3.3 and 3.4. 3.2 Beneficiaries eligible to receive contributions are members of the Dorer families with their place of origin in Baden, as well as their descendants, provided they bear the name Dorer. Descendants who no longer bear the name Dorer due to marriage or entering into a registered partnership, as well as their children, are also eligible. However, the grandchildren and further descendants of these family members are no longer entitled to receive contributions from the foundation. Official names, rather than any possible married names, shall apply. 3.3 Contributions shall be allocated, in order of priority, to cover the costs of initial education following compulsory schooling (vocational training, gymnasial and university studies), and secondly to cover expenses for further education and/or study abroad. The income and asset situation of the parents or scholarship applicants shall be taken into account when determining the contributions. 3.4 Furthermore, the foundation may also provide support services from the foundation's assets if beneficiaries as per Section 3.2 above are in need and experiencing financial difficulties.
