The interest income from the foundation's capital is intended to enable needy descendants of the following families to learn a trade or, if necessary, another profession, after careful examination of the claim by the foundation board: 1. The family of Johann Josef Unternährer, born November 25, 1855, municipal clerk, from and in Schüpfheim, 2. The family of Adolf Unternährer, born February 16, 1857, postal employee and pharmacist, from and in Schüpfheim, 3. The family of Hermann Unternährer, born December 28, 1860, postmaster, from and in Schüpfheim. If this primary purpose cannot be fulfilled, and if the interest income from the foundation's capital has reached a larger amount, the foundation board may exceptionally make purchases or provide support in the area of schools and education within the municipality of Schüpfheim, which are not paid for by any public entity. Within the area of education and training, the interest income may finally also be used for the social care of individual children from Schüpfheim. The foundation's capital is not to be touched.
