The foundation supports projects in the fields of science, healthcare, social welfare and culture. These projects can be new or already launched. The foundation aims to support projects in any country, but primarily in countries with which the Bemberg family has had a close connection over several generations. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can directly identify, evaluate and finance projects. However, the foundation can also act through a locally anchored organization in the chosen country or countries. The locally anchored organization must be a recognized non-profit organization that carries out specifically identified projects in the fields of science, healthcare, social welfare and culture. The foundation will properly evaluate these organizations and select projects to be financed by the foundation on a case-by-case basis. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
