The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the LPP and its implementing provisions for the employees of the founder, respectively the employer, and for the employees of economically or financially closely related companies, as well as their survivors against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability; it may extend the provision beyond the minimum benefits of the LPP and offer support in cases of distress due to old age, death, disability, illness, accident, unemployment or maternity; the affiliation of an economically or financially closely related company is made by a written affiliation contract which must be notified to the supervisory authority; the foundation board issues one or more regulations defining the benefits, organization, administration and financing, as well as the control of the foundation; it sets out in the regulations the relationships with employers, employees and beneficiaries; the regulations may be amended at any time by the Foundation Board while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries and respecting the purpose of the foundation; to achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts for the benefit of the beneficiaries or a part of them or join existing contracts; it is then the policyholder and beneficiary.
