In accordance with the principles of compassion, non-violence, social and environmental responsibility, the Foundation aims to support, promote and develop projects in all charitable, scientific, health, animal protection, environmental, educational, humanitarian and development aid fields. To this end, it may intervene in any appropriate manner, in Switzerland and abroad, to promote access to health in all its forms; promote access to education; protect living beings; protect the environment; promote sustainable economic and social development; reduce poverty; provide essential assistance; and incidentally, promote art and culture. The Foundation achieves its purpose through the means deemed appropriate by its foundation council, in particular by providing assistance to individuals or legal entities working towards the purpose. It may accept support requests from them and/or take initiatives to direct activities in the areas covered by its purpose. The Foundation does not pursue any profit-making purpose. The Foundation is entitled to carry out all activities that are consistent with, related to or necessary for the achievement of its purpose. It may create other foundations or legal entities. It may acquire, hold or sell movable or immovable property.
