The foundation's purpose is to host the various funds allocated to the beneficiary circles of the Swatch Group Les Boutiques SA Pension Foundation, the SSIH Pension Fund, and the Universo SA Pension Fund (transferring foundations), as well as the funds of other corporate foundations that may be absorbed in the future. The funds received from a transferring foundation are exclusively allocated to the beneficiaries of the latter, or the affiliated companies. The foundation can affiliate other companies of the Swatch Group and establish a fund for the benefit of the employees and retirees of all affiliated companies. The foundation's purpose is: to help the employees and retirees of the affiliated companies cope with the economic consequences that can result from retirement, disability, death, illness, accidents, or any other analogous events for which they are not responsible; to improve the benefits for the retirees of the affiliated companies; to support activities aimed at promoting the social cohesion of retirees; to contribute to the costs related to early retirement; to serve the financing of contributions intended to absorb the deficit of the Swatch Group Pension Fund by the free assets, provided that the principle of parity is respected; to make contributions to the Swatch Group Pension Fund for the benefit of the staff of the affiliated companies and to cover all or part of the contributions due to said institution by the affiliated companies or their employees and retirees.
