Fondation Paul Jaquier

The foundation aims to promote agriculture and farmers in the Glâne district. To this end: it must preserve the entire domain, which is the property of the foundation, subject to Article 3, paragraph 4; it must maintain this domain for agricultural purposes and, consequently, refrain from any speculation; it must assist, to the extent possible, farmers or future farmers who are landless and financially disadvantaged; it has the power to promote agricultural experiments; it will ensure that rents remain close to the yield value. The foundation does not pursue any lucrative or commercial purpose. If a public law corporation is legally required to provide services similar to those of the foundation, the latter will only intervene on a subsidiary basis.
