The foundation pursues the non-profit goal of supporting research activities aimed at improving and developing cancer prevention, prediction, diagnosis, treatment, care, and follow-up care carried out in Switzerland within public universities, university hospitals, and polytechnic schools. To this end, it can, in particular, engage in and/or finance and/or participate in the following types of actions: research projects, clinical trials, PhD or Master's thesis work, associated scholarships, clinical research scholarships, sharing of information, experience, and best practices with Swiss entities, sharing of information, experience, and best practices with multinational entities if the lead is a Swiss entity, development of research infrastructures. For all economic assets that may come to it, the foundation's mission is to derive the necessary resources to achieve its purpose, to maintain their homogeneity, to ensure continuous control, and to ensure that their exploitation is pursued in the spirit and philosophy of their donors. In accordance with the purpose pursued, the foundation deploys its activities throughout the Swiss territory. It does not have a profit-making purpose and does not pursue profit as an objective. The assets of the foundation are used exclusively within the framework pursued by it. A return to the donors or founders is expressly excluded.
