The foundation's purpose is to provide general care for the current or former employees of the company and HANS KOHLER Immobilien AG, as well as their immediate family members, against the economic consequences of old age, disability, accident, illness, and death, and, if necessary, also in cases of unforseen hardship. The foundation may also include employees of companies economically or financially closely related to the company, provided that the necessary funds are made available to the foundation and the rights of the existing beneficiaries are not impaired. No benefits may be paid from the foundation's assets for which the company and companies economically or financially closely related to it are legally or contractually obligated, or which have a character similar to wages, such as cost-of-living allowances, family allowances, bonuses, anniversary gifts, etc. To achieve the foundation's purpose, the foundation may take out suitable insurance policies for the benefit of the beneficiaries or enter into existing insurance contracts, provided that in all cases the foundation is the policyholder. The foundation may also make contributions to other tax-exempt employee benefit institutions that exist for the benefit of the beneficiaries.
