1. The purpose of the association is to operate and maintain the Maggenberg nursing home for the accommodation of elderly people who, due to their state of health, require nursing care and constant attention. 2. The association is also responsible under the law of September 8, 2005, on home help and care. 3. It promotes and coordinates, in accordance with cantonal legislation, the activities of the ambulance service, Spitex Sense, and other socio-medical organizations and institutions within the association's area in the sense of a health network. To this end, it concludes a performance contract with the organizations. 4. It can offer services to municipalities that are not members, as well as to other municipal associations and third parties, in accordance with Art. 112, para. 2 of the GG. These are regulated in cooperation agreements and must be financially self-supporting. 5. The association can own and maintain properties that do not serve the association's purpose. In this sense, it remains the owner of the property which it has granted to the FSN, in accordance with Art. 52, para. 2 of the FSNG, for building rights. 6. The association can, at any time in accordance with Art. 56 of the FSNG, waive its property rights over the properties necessary for the operation of the hospitals in favor of the FSN.
