The cooperative promotes the interests of older community residents through joint self-help, by renting and operating age-appropriate apartments tailored to the needs of this population group. It considers itself an important, modern link in the non-profit institutions in the municipality of Löhningen and aims to work closely with the municipal authorities and social and care institutions in the municipality where it makes sense and synergies can be achieved. The cooperative's goal is to manage the age-appropriate apartments built on the Storchen site in the municipality of Löhningen, as well as the additional infrastructure spaces, and to rent them out at fair prices. The cooperative is the owner of the age-appropriate apartments, community rooms, and surrounding area. The rental of a cooperative apartment is based on the regulations for the rental of apartments. The board of directors may grant exceptions. A rental agreement is concluded, which is the sole basis for the rental relationship.
