The association pursues exclusively religious, charitable and non-profit, but not economic purposes. The purpose is fulfilled in particular through: sending and supporting employees of Christian faith communities; building and supporting Christian communities and institutions at home and abroad; conducting and supporting training, further education and aid measures for employees and Christian communities, institutions and organizations at home and abroad; procuring material resources of all kinds required for the dissemination and strengthening of the Christian faith (e.g. Bibles, teaching and training materials, etc.); building and supporting Christian services, educational institutions as well as social and medical projects and institutions at home and abroad; procuring and distributing aid goods in disaster areas and in emergency situations of all kinds. The fulfillment of the purpose can be achieved in whole or in part through support or networking of the services belonging to the Globe Mission Network or other legal entities and organizations with a corresponding purpose.
