Happel Foundation

The core activity of the Happel Foundation is to support projects that aim to sustainably improve the living situation of people in need. This includes in particular: The promotion of projects in developing countries in Asia and Africa to combat poverty sustainably. The support of people in need in Central Switzerland, especially families with seriously ill children, people with debt problems and relatives of prisoners. The promotion of education and self-help projects, such as education for orphans, microfinance for small businesses and the provision of visual aids for people in need. The Happel Foundation follows the principle of 'help for self-help' and promotes projects that aim to involve the beneficiaries actively.
