The association exclusively and irrevocably pursues non-profit purposes. The purpose of the association is to support people in need. This is achieved in particular by: a) providing people who have become victims of war, displacement, attacks, persecution, other violence, epidemics, famine or natural disasters with 1. food, clothing, shelter and financial assistance; 2. medical care and legal support as well as training; 3. assistance in repairing damage to their homes and workplaces and in creating living conditions necessary for a dignified existence; b) supporting charitable organizations and institutions abroad and locally through personal and/or financial contributions in the construction, maintenance and equipment of hospitals, schools, other educational institutions and other social institutions, provided that the association can control the use of the support services in accordance with the purpose of the association or the recipients have a status that enables their support without jeopardizing the association's tax-exempt status. In supporting charitable organizations and institutions abroad, the association will primarily work with government agencies and intergovernmental and supranational aid organizations and, if possible and in cases of suspicion, verify through inquiries with the diplomatic representations of the Swiss Confederation in the countries concerned that there are no concerns about the activities of the supported organizations and institutions.
