The foundation aims to: a) promote the economic development of the Eastern Switzerland region through contributions to existing and newly established companies in this region, particularly in the area of direct sales b) support the cultural and economic development of the Eastern Switzerland region, especially Walzenhausen/AR c) sponsor talented athletes and artists from Eastern Switzerland and specifically from Walzenhausen d) provide financial resources to charitable institutions with a sphere of activity in Eastern Switzerland. To achieve the main purpose mentioned in lit. a), the foundation may hold participations in companies (hereinafter referred to as JUST companies) that are directly or indirectly related to the founder of the JUST group, Ulrich Jüstrich, from Berneck/SG and Walzenhausen/AR, born on 13.02.1903, deceased on 03.12.1985. Such participations may only be sold if the majority of the other shareholders of the JUST companies also agree to the sale. If the majority of the other shareholders of the JUST companies decide to list individual JUST companies or the entire JUST group partially or fully on the stock exchange or to sell them in another way (trade sale, asset deal, liquidation, etc.), the JUST foundation must also contribute its participations. The foundation does not exert any influence on the operational activities of the JUST companies; reserved is the right to participate in the personnel appointment of the boards of directors and the auditing body.
