The purpose of the foundation is to pursue, promote or contribute to public-benefit goals through one-time or periodic donations, in particular by making donations to charitable and public-benefit institutions and organizations, supporting institutions of Jewish welfare, charity and public benefit, and making donations to needy individuals. The foundation board determines further recipients of support and the amount of support on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with its duty of care, taking into account the available resources. The foundation is primarily active in Switzerland. It can also support organizations based in Switzerland that fulfill purposes abroad in the sense of this foundation deed.
