Based on the global Project Hunger strategy to sustainably overcome chronic hunger and extreme poverty, which is structured around the following three pillars: mobilizing the local population to develop self-sufficiency; empowering women as key agents of change; working in partnership with local authorities; the association aims to: raise funds to financially support the programs and activities of Project Hunger in Africa, Latin America, and South Asia; invest the majority of these funds in projects planned, monitored, and evaluated from Switzerland, in close collaboration with the regional Project Hunger in the concerned countries and with global Project Hunger; raise awareness and share information to encourage individuals, institutions, and businesses in Switzerland to support the global movement to end chronic hunger and extreme poverty worldwide. Through events, publications, and media work, the association promotes greater awareness of Project Hunger and attracts new donors who identify with the association's goal. The association can also establish partnerships with other non-governmental organizations and benefit from the synergies created to optimally use the financial resources at its disposal.
