The foundation aims to promote a sense of family unity among the descendants of the late Mr. Hugo Grimmer-Hofammann, who lived in Meinau, municipality of Cham, canton of Zug, born on July 30, 1827, and deceased on December 21, 1908, by providing the following support and scholarships: a) male descendants of the aforementioned Hugo Grimmer, who bear the name Grimmer, contributions to the costs of education, vocational training, or establishment, as well as scholarships for academic studies; b) female descendants, as long as they bear the name Grimmer, contributions to vocational training or a contribution to the dowry upon marriage; c) descendants, regardless of gender or name, support in case of unmerited loss of assets or income; descendants who have demonstrably made contributions to the foundation's assets, up to the amount of these contributions. Excluded from any benefit from the foundation's assets are those descendants who can be proven to lead an unworthy lifestyle or who have lost the sense of tradition for the family.
