The cooperative aims to: 1. achieve the best possible utilization of cow's milk produced in Maienfeld; 2. provide Maienfeld with a rational supply of milk and dairy products; 3. give consumers in Maienfeld the opportunity to purchase good milk and dairy products without being taken advantage of. In times of high milk production, i.e. when sales are not possible or only at very low prices, members are required to take over self-utilization in proportion to their deliveries, or to purchase butter and cheese. The implementation and accounting of self-supply take place in such a way that each self-supplier is charged with the milk processed for them in their account. They only have to bear the additional costs incurred by the operation. 4. In addition to the milk utilization business, the cooperative operates a deep-freeze facility. This facility is primarily available to members. The use of the facility is regulated in a special set of rules.
