The purpose is to safeguard the interests of its members through mutual self-help by achieving the best possible utilization of milk; by promoting the technical knowledge of producers to improve quantitative and qualitative milk production; by trading in milk and dairy products, whether through the cooperative or through a milk buyer contract. Furthermore, the cooperative aims to operate food and dairy product businesses in Zermatt, which, in addition to achieving the best possible utilization of the milk produced by the cooperative members, can also sell all products in bulk and retail.
