The foundation serves to maintain the unity of the Moos family from Schongau. In particular, it pursues the purpose of providing the beneficiaries with the following voluntary services (to which there is no legal entitlement): 1. Promotion and facilitation of studies and training; 2. Promotion of further education, especially in ecological and agricultural areas on the family's ancestral property in Oberschongau; 3. Care in emergency situations and support in case of illness and disability; 4. Promotion of the memory of Gottlieb Moos, former city pastor in Lucerne; 5. Preservation of family mementos, heirlooms, and family writings (family archive); 6. Promotion of family unity; 7. Preservation of the birthplace of Pastor Gottlieb Moos in Schongau; 8. Creation and maintenance of suitable housing for the beneficiaries, which may be provided to them - depending on their economic distress - without charge or at a reduced rent (possibly in combination with point 7). Secondary beneficiaries may receive voluntary services if there is no corresponding need for primary beneficiaries.
