The foundation's purpose is: a) to build and maintain an art collection with a focus on works by Nelly Rudin; b) to promote art historical research in the field of the foundation's collection and to support the accessibility and dissemination of the collection, in particular through aa) safeguarding copyrights, especially against falsification and distortion; bb) organizing or supporting exhibition activities; cc) publishing specialized literature, catalogs, image reproductions, CD-ROMs, etc.; dd) facilitating access to Nelly Rudin's work and corresponding cataloging work as well as building a database; ee) targeted loans and permanent loans from the collection; ff) assisting students with their theses. 2. The foundation may purchase additional works by Nelly Rudin to pursue its purpose and, to the extent that they are not explicitly designated as inalienable, sell or exchange individual works or groups of works by Nelly Rudin with a designated group of works. 3. The foundation may also support other artists and/or projects in the field of constructive/concrete art and related areas, e.g. by awarding prizes and scholarships. 4. The foundation may strive for integration into a larger organization. To the extent that this better serves the foundation's purpose, the foundation's board may enter into cooperation with other legal or natural persons; merge the foundation with other foundations or, to the extent legally permissible, other legal entities; and transfer the foundation's assets to another legal entity for a specific purpose. 5. The foundation may operate domestically and internationally and is politically and denominationally neutral. 6. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
