The company's purpose is the manufacture and sale in Switzerland and abroad of food and dietary products, in particular coffee, and of devices for the distribution and preparation of such products and accessories. In pursuing its purpose, the Company aims to have a significant positive social and environmental impact within the framework of its commercial and operational activities. It may acquire, sell, exploit or have exploited all intellectual property rights, such as invention patents, manufacturing processes, trademarks, designs and industrial models. The Company may create branches, found affiliated companies, participate in companies with an identical or similar purpose, carry out all operations and conclude all contracts suitable for developing the Company's social purpose, in Switzerland or abroad. The Company may acquire, hold, manage, pledge, enhance and alienate real estate in Switzerland and abroad, as well as finance other companies, except for operations prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE). Furthermore, it may carry out all operations, including contracting loans that, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, are favorable to its development and have a direct or indirect connection with its purpose, as well as exploit or participate in cash pooling/net liquidity centralization with companies of the group to which it belongs.
