Occupational pension provision for the employees of the founder or employer company and for companies that are financially or economically closely linked to the founder company, by providing support and benefits: to the employee in the event of old age or disability or in cases of need, such as illness, accident or unemployment affecting him personally; to the employee in cases of need, such as illness, accident, unemployment or disability affecting his spouse, his minor or disabled children or other persons for whom he is responsible for maintenance; in the event of the employee's death, to the surviving spouse, the divorced spouse and to persons for whom he was responsible for maintenance at the time of his death, and in the absence of such persons, to his legal heirs. The employer's contributions may also be made from previously accumulated and separately disclosed contribution reserves, in accordance with Article 331, paragraph 3 of the Swiss Code of Obligations. The foundation may pay such contributions to other tax-exempt pension institutions that the founder company has joined or established itself.
