The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of the founding company and their dependents against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability. The foundation can provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment. The foundation board shall issue the necessary regulations regarding the benefits, organization, management, investment, provisions, reserves and financing, as well as control of the foundation. It regulates the relationship with the employer, the insured persons and the beneficiaries. The regulations can be amended by the foundation board while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. The regulations and their amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority for examination. By decision of the foundation board, in agreement with the company, enterprises that are financially or economically closely linked to the founding company can also be affiliated with the foundation. The rights of the existing beneficiaries must not be impaired thereby. The affiliation of a related enterprise is based on a written affiliation agreement. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
