The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG for all pensioners and surviving dependents of the company and economically or financially closely related companies, where the first pension commencement date is before January 1, 2018, and which are reinsured with AXA Insurance. The foundation continues to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for these pensioners and their dependents and surviving dependents, and protects them against the economic consequences of old age and death. The affiliation of a related company is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. In addition, the foundation can also provide support services in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment, and can also provide voluntary purchase benefits and contribution reductions at the pension institution where the active insured persons of the company and its related companies are affiliated. The foundation can finance contributions from the company and its related companies to the pension institution where the active insured persons are affiliated. The foundation board issues one or more regulations on the benefits, organization, administration, and financing, as well as on the control of the foundation. It establishes the relationship with the pensioners and other beneficiaries in a regulation. The regulations can be amended by the foundation board, while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. The regulations and their amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
