The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of Swisscard AECS GmbH and companies economically or financially closely linked to it, as well as affiliated companies, and for their relatives and beneficiaries against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. The affiliation of a linked company is made on the basis of a decision by the foundation board and by means of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation may provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment.
