The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of the founding company and the Swiss companies closely related to it within the La Prairie Group, as well as for their relatives and beneficiaries, by providing support in cases of old age, death, illness, accident, disability, military service or unemployment. The claims of the previous beneficiaries must not be impaired by the extension of the circle of persons. The affiliation of a related company is made on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation may provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
