The company's purpose is to operate a bilingual local radio station and broadcast its programs in the Biel/Bienne and Seeland regions in accordance with the Federal Act of June 21, 1991 on Radio and Television (RTVG) and the concession of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (UVEK). Furthermore, the company contributes to the free formation of opinion, particularly on issues of local and regional coexistence, to a general diverse and objective information of the listeners, to their education and entertainment. It promotes cultural life and bilingualism in the service area and takes into account the diversity of the region. The overall program offer must not serve one-sidedly certain parties, interests or ideologies. The company can establish branches, operate similar or related companies or merge with them, acquire or sell real estate, and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company or are directly or indirectly related to it.
