The foundation aims to provide financial support to activities, projects, and organizations that help people in need in Switzerland and abroad, as well as animal welfare causes. The income from the entire estate of Rosa Hauser-Keller is to be used equally for people in need and for animals. Targeted and accompanied support actions and activities in Switzerland and abroad, such as social aid campaigns (winter aid, women's shelters, Terre des Hommes, Afghanistan aid), concrete projects for clean water or projects after environmental disasters, as well as organizations dedicated to animal welfare (e.g. an animal shelter), are to be supported. The supported organizations must have their headquarters in Switzerland. Primarily, organizations with headquarters in Schaffhausen or with an area of operation in the Schaffhausen region are to be supported. The scope of the activities can also include foreign countries. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. Only institutions that are exempt from taxes due to the pursuit of non-profit or public purposes are supported. No individuals are supported.
