Samaritains Valais Romand

Sam-VR aims to develop Samaritan work, promote first aid, and carry out humanitarian tasks in the spirit of the Red Cross. It recognizes the fundamental principles of the Red Cross: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntarism, unity, and universality. Sam-VR supports, encourages, and coordinates the activities of Samaritan sections, including Samaritan youth, as well as their leaders, and represents their interests within Samaritains Suisse. It assumes, on a subsidiary basis and to the extent possible, the tasks that the sections are unable to carry out. Sam-VR promotes collaboration with other organizations and cantonal authorities. Sam-VR limits its activities to its geographical area of operation, except in cases of special agreements or emergencies.
