a) The foundation, as defined in Article 80 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code, is established for the purpose of disseminating knowledge to promote spiritual and moral development within Switzerland, based on the traditions and principles of Sant Mat, i.e. the teachings of the saints as presented by the patrons of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) (see annex). The foundation supports the followers in studying this science, whose goal is to liberate the soul from its limited earthly existence and reunite it with God. b) The foundation shall make arrangements for holding Satsangs in Switzerland (meetings of followers to listen to lectures on the teachings and practices of Sant Mat). Furthermore, the foundation shall organize national Satsangs/meetings. c) To achieve its purpose, the foundation shall promote the import, sale, translation, printing, publication, and distribution of literature, newsletters, magazines, photographs, and audiovisual media on Sant Mat. d) The foundation is not profit-oriented. All revenues from any sales of the aforementioned printed and audiovisual materials, as well as from voluntary donations from third parties, shall be used to achieve the foundation's purpose.
