The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG (Federal Act on Occupational Old-Age, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans) and its implementing provisions for employees and employers of the foundation's affiliated employers with a registered office or place of business in Switzerland, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, by providing benefits in cases of old age, death and disability. The foundation may provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits. Companies with a registered office or place of business in Switzerland may join the foundation. The affiliation of an employer may be subject to certain conditions. The rights of the existing beneficiaries must not be impaired as a result. The affiliation of a company is based on a written affiliation agreement. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, where it is the policyholder and beneficiary.
