The purpose of the association is to expand the specialist knowledge of lawyers, trustees, auditors, bankers, tax experts, insurance experts and representatives of similar professions in the field of national and international estate planning and trust business, and to discuss questions arising in practice. The association can also organize conferences and symposia to create information and discussion platforms. Furthermore, the association aims to represent interests to authorities and organizations within the framework of consultations at national level and to lobby with international and national authorities and organizations. The association promotes all other objectives that are directly or indirectly connected with the above-mentioned objectives or are considered appropriate for their improvement and that are in line with the objectives of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners STEP Worldwide, a guaranteed company limited by guarantee (incorporated in England and Wales under the Companies Act 1985, (Registration No. 2632423)).
