The foundation aims to promote animal welfare. In doing so, it specifically supports projects, institutions and organizations that strive to provide emergency aid, protection and health for animals (e.g. animal shelters, animal clinics, animal hospitals, etc.), promote species-appropriate livestock and pet keeping, foster the conservation of endangered species (including nature parks, zoological gardens, etc.) or aim to preserve the natural habitat of animals, as well as all other projects and actions that directly or indirectly serve to improve the living conditions of animals (e.g. also through educational, informational and public relations work, etc.). The foundation primarily carries out its activities within the canton of Zurich. Within the framework of the foundation's purpose, animal welfare projects with an impact in the rest of Switzerland may be supported exceptionally.
