Establishment, promotion and support of day schools for children with cerebral palsy, where they are treated, occupied and trained during the day, as well as employment, work, residential, care and holiday homes for people with cerebral palsy, and residential facilities with service facilities for severely disabled people with cerebral palsy through financial contributions to planning, construction, renovation, equipment and operating costs, which can be made in the form of non-repayable grants, time-limited or unlimited interest-free or interest-bearing loans, participations in foundation capital or in other suitable forms. Provision of financial contributions to the education, further education, promotion, care and social support of individual people with cerebral palsy, aids, facilities and structural adaptations in the private sector, especially if this promotes the independence of the person with cerebral palsy, facilitates their care or enables them to stay with their family and thus avoid institutionalization, transport costs or the acquisition, operation, maintenance or adaptation of suitable vehicles, in the form of non-repayable grants, time-limited or unlimited interest-free or interest-bearing loans, or in other suitable forms, also as a bridging loan until costs are taken over by state and/or private institutions. Promotion and support of the efforts of the 'Association for the benefit of children with cerebral palsy, Basel regional group' and close cooperation with it, the 'Swiss Foundation for Children with Cerebral Palsy (Cerebral Foundation), Bern' and other organizations for people with disabilities. The target group of the foundation are children, adolescents and adults with cerebral palsy living in the Basel-Stadt canton and its surrounding region in Switzerland, as well as institutions and facilities serving this population. With the exception of bridging loans, the foundation may not provide services that fall within the scope of federal, cantonal or communal organizations, institutions, insurances, etc. This also applies to private organizations, etc. with a state mandate.
