The foundation promotes the public awareness and recognition of Jakob Strasser's work in both the general public and professional circles. The foundation can lend or donate artworks by Jakob Strasser from its collection to third parties and acquire or accept artworks by the artist as gifts, permanent loans, or loans. In particular, the foundation aims to make the loan of paintings to members of the Jakob Strasser, Artist Association possible. The sale or donation of individual artworks is possible and requires the unanimous consent of the foundation's board. The foundation can acquire artworks, writings, and documentation by other artists if they are related to Jakob Strasser's life and/or work. The foundation fosters active collaboration with the Jakob Strasser, Artist Association to preserve the artist's complete works and make them accessible to a broad public. The foundation can support or promote cultural projects and events related to Jakob Strasser's life and/or work. The foundation can become a member of the Swiss Art Association or similar organizations. The foundation can acquire and sell real estate. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
