The foundation aims to support needy individuals and institutions in the Sursee Plus region with services in the healthcare sector. The foundation specifically aims to finance and cover costs in the following areas: relief services and/or support offers for family members (e.g. household help, recreational stays); non-covered costs of hospital stays; spa, rehabilitation or recreational stays in designated institutions; dental and orthodontic treatments; outpatient and/or palliative care and support; leisure activities for patients, their care and/or training of healthcare personnel; health promotion and prevention, as well as providing contributions in these areas to institutions. The foundation can, in accordance with its original purpose, specifically support the care and support institutions Seeblick in Sursee and the care department of the St. Martin Sursee retirement center, namely through contributions to purchases or the financing of purchases that promote the operation of these institutes, the leisure activities of patients, the care of patients, and the training of staff. Eligible individuals and institutions must have their residence or seat in the Sursee Plus region. Exceptions are reserved for services to institutions that do not necessarily have to be based in the Sursee Plus region, provided that the individuals whose stay can be financed must have their residence in the Sursee Plus region. The Sursee Plus region currently covers the municipalities of Geuensee, Knutwil, Mauensee, Oberkirch, Schenkon, and the city of Sursee. The foundation can also acquire, sell, and encumber real estate and participate in companies that are active in the foundation's purpose to fulfill its purpose.
