Stiftung Vascular International

The core activity of the Vascular International Foundation is to promote vascular surgery through research, education and training of vascular surgeons, technological advancement of medical products, and support for patients with vascular diseases. This includes, in particular: conducting practical training courses and internships for vascular surgeons; developing and publishing standards in vascular surgery; promoting young talent in developing countries through scholarships and training models; supporting clinical projects and studies; awarding prizes for scientific and clinical work in vascular surgery; operating the VASCULAR INTERNATIONAL School for the education and training of vascular surgeons; and supporting patients through the online platform meinezweitmeinung.ch for obtaining second opinions from specialist physicians.
