The company's purpose is to provide services in the field of digital identities, electronic identification and electronic signatures and their application, which includes, among other things, the establishment, operation and appearance as a certification and trust service provider, as well as the establishment of corresponding publicly available services, and the provision of services in accordance with the legal basis and technical standards for electronic identification and qualified and non-qualified trust services for electronic transactions as an issuer and in connection with electronic identification means, in particular identification systems. Within the framework of the group's guidelines, it can carry out all legal transactions that serve the company's purpose, namely: a) acquire and sell real estate and intellectual property rights, b) establish and sell companies, c) participate in companies, d) raise and invest funds on the money and capital market. Within the framework of the group's guidelines, the company can grant loans, loans or other financings of any kind to its direct or indirect parent companies, as well as their or their direct or indirect subsidiaries or other group companies, and provide collateral of any kind for its own liabilities and liabilities of such other companies, in particular in the form of guarantees, pledges, global assignments, security transfers, security assignments and indemnification declarations, even if these loans or collateral are provided free of charge. Furthermore, the company can operate a liquidity adjustment/concentration of net liquidity (cash pooling) with the above-mentioned companies or join such a system, including periodic account balancing. All of this can be done by the company without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the company's profit motive and assuming lump-sum risks. The company is allowed to act within the legal framework in the interest of the group or individual group companies. It can provide services on behalf of third parties within the framework of the usual use of its infrastructure.
