Thomas und Elsbeth Stitzinger-Stiftung

The foundation aims to support individuals who are directly or indirectly (as relatives) affected by Alzheimer's disease or hearing impairment and who live in the cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden, St. Gallen, Thurgau, or Graubünden. To this end, the foundation covers costs that may arise in connection with Alzheimer's disease and/or hearing impairment, such as costs for care personnel, external placements, holiday stays, nursing home stays, medical measures and clarifications, hearing aids, etc., which are not paid for by private or compulsory insurance or the social authorities. The foundation can also contribute to further research into Alzheimer's disease and hearing impairments and support selected projects. The foundation is non-profit and does not pursue a commercial purpose or seek to make a profit.
