The company's purpose is to operate, maintain and manage offshore drilling units of all kinds and related equipment, as well as to provide advice, brokerage and execution of financial transactions of all kinds; in particular, the purchase, rental and leasing of investment and consumer goods. Without limiting the foregoing, the company's purpose explicitly includes the acquisition, ownership, holding, management, exploitation, sale, rental, leasing and chartering of offshore drilling units of all kinds and related equipment. The company may also hold participations in subsidiaries and affiliated companies in Switzerland and abroad, and provide services to affiliated persons. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The company may grant financing and similar services to affiliated companies, i.e. direct or indirect subsidiaries, direct or indirect sister companies, or direct or indirect parent companies, whether by means of loans, advances, guarantees or other securities of any kind, whether against payment or not. The company may acquire, hold, manage, exploit and dispose of real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad (with the exception of transactions prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG)). The company may engage in all activities and take all measures that appear suitable to promote the company's purpose, or that are connected therewith, in particular the conclusion of contracts with customers and suppliers and transactions for the raising of capital.
