The Company's purpose is to optimize, in the interest of European football as a whole, the commercial aspects of UEFA inter-club competitions and to develop new activities aimed at generating new assets or new commercial activities of substantial value that are not necessarily related to UEFA inter-club competitions. The Company manages and operates the commercial rights related to UEFA inter-club competitions in a way that best serves the interests of the shareholders and European football as a whole. The Company's activities include carrying out commercial activities related to UEFA inter-club competitions in Europe and worldwide, as well as managing and marketing any new assets or new commercial activities that the Company may decide to develop, including the granting of licenses related to commercial rights, generating and collecting revenue, managing marketing agencies, and creating and operating commercial programs. The Company develops optimal strategies to promote, improve, and optimize the image, potential, and commercial appeal of current and future UEFA inter-club competitions in all geographic areas, while taking into account UEFA's general objectives in terms of sports and public interest. The Company may undertake any project and enter into any commercial, financial, industrial, or real estate commitment in order to provide the services that arise from its corporate objectives. The Company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and/or abroad and take participations in other companies in Switzerland and/or abroad, acquire, hold, encumber, and dispose of real estate in Switzerland and/or abroad, and carry out all commercial, financial, or other activities directly or indirectly related to this purpose. The Company may grant loans or provide any other type of financing, with or without remuneration, to companies it directly or indirectly holds and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, as well as to third parties, including its shareholders, and provide any type of security for the commitments entered into by these persons or group companies, including in the form of guarantees, liens, and assignments of Company assets as security, and may provide any type of security for the obligations of these companies, including in the form of pledges or fiduciary transfers of Company assets or by means of guarantees of all kinds, with or without compensation. Furthermore, the Company may carry out or participate in cash pooling/netting with group companies, including periodic account compensation, at its discretion, without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the pursuit of profit by the Company, and taking into account group risks.
