The association aims to promote the development of culture, art, science, sociology, technology, craft, and creativity in all their forms; it promotes information in general based on the conviction that knowledge and learning are fundamental human rights, so that status can be improved in the personal and professional sphere. As part of the humanitarian and social activities of the association, certificates, diplomas, and recognitions can be issued to members for human, professional, career, study, and research merits. Unitelematik International Leonhard Euler promotes bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. programs in accordance with Swiss fields of study. It promotes study programs that comply with the principles of the European Higher Education Area. It intends to train students in collaboration with universities in Europe and around the world through educational and cultural exchange, by setting up work tables, scientific research, and learning internships, also using collaboration with private and state companies. UNI ILA is an institution dedicated to the transmission and development of knowledge. It is a place of truth-seeking and critical thinking, of universality and uniqueness. It fulfills its mission with the conviction that the present and future of humanity depend to a large extent on cultural, scientific, and technical progress, to which it contributes through teaching, research, and knowledge transfer. The mission of UNI ILA finds its legal basis in Unitelematik International Leonhard Euler. It consists of: High-quality education; Scientifically relevant research on an international level; Contribution to the development of the country and society. At the Swiss level, through a contribution to the development of the national higher education and education system, in compliance with the legal order in force as well as the recognized academic standards and best practices; At the European and international level, through the promotion of alignment with the principles and standards of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) as well as through the support of transnational academic and scientific cooperation; At the international level, through the conclusion of agreements, partnerships, and cooperations with foreign universities, academic institutions, and research centers. The association recognizes training points acquired through VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) and RVA assessment (Recognition, Validation, and Accreditation). RVA is recognized by UNESCO and the Council of Europe, which promotes the recognition and facilitation of cultural and educational exchange. The association recognizes merits by certifying, accrediting, and converting into ECTS the knowledge and skills acquired within the framework of a course of study or through professional experience, applying the rewarding principle of lifelong learning. The UNESCO guidelines for the recognition, validation, and accreditation of non-formal and informal learning outcomes were developed to facilitate the recognition, validation, and accreditation (RVA) of all learning outcomes, particularly those of non-formal and informal learning. UNESCO member states have also committed to creating recognition frameworks to develop and improve the principles and mechanisms of RVA. In the UNESCO guidelines, the most important areas for national-level action are defined, namely 1. The introduction of RVA as a key component of a national lifelong learning strategy; 2. The development of RVA systems that are accessible to all; 3. Making RVA an integral part of general and vocational education systems; 4. Creation of a coordinated national structure that involves all stakeholders; 5. Expansion of the capacities of RVA personnel; 6. Development of sustainable financing mechanisms.
