The purpose of the association is to organize wine tastings, to bring together wine enthusiasts and to promote the understanding of wine cultivation, production and culture from all countries and regions. The association is politically and denominationally neutral. The association is authorized to carry out commercial activities within the scope of its purpose. The commercial activities of the association serve exclusively to achieve the purpose of the association and are carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of Switzerland. The profits from commercial activities may only be used for non-profit purposes in accordance with the association's statutes and may not be distributed to the members of the association. All commercial activities of the association must be transparent and in accordance with the principles of integrity and ethics. The details of the association's commercial activities are set out in a separate business plan and approved by the general assembly or board of directors. The board of directors is authorized to conclude contracts and enter into other legal obligations on behalf of the association that are necessary for the exercise of the association's commercial activities. Any liability of the association in connection with its commercial activities is limited to the association's assets and does not extend to the personal liability of the members. Any change to the purpose of the association requires the consent of all association members.
