The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of Winterthur Gas and Diesel AG and Wärtsilä Services Switzerland AG (hereinafter referred to as the companies) and for companies economically or financially closely related to them, as well as for their dependents and survivors against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. The affiliation of a related company is made on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation may provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment.
