The foundation aims to provide occupational benefits within the framework of the BVG (Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans) and its implementing regulations against the economic consequences of old age, death, and disability for the employees in the administrative department of the company and for the persons active in Switzerland in the company's external service (general agents and their employees), as well as for their relatives and dependents. Economically or financially closely related companies can also join the foundation. The accession of a related company takes place on the basis of a written accession agreement, which must be brought to the attention of the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support in emergency situations such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or join existing contracts, whereby it must itself be the insured and the beneficiary.
